To Desensitize or Not To Desensitize to "The Dark World" AKA Harry Potter (series) & Vampire Books of Stephanie Meyer
I've been contemplating whether or not to let our oldest, eight year old, daughter watch the Harry Potter series or even to dabble into the vampire books of Stephanie Meyer. After much discernment, prayer and a careful reading of a very insightful interview by The Pro-Life Leader who is also an Exorcist, I've come to the conclusion, "We Shalt NOT!" As a warning to parents who allow their children to be desensitized to "the dark world" by these types of book and films, it all starts with someone getting involved in some sort of occult practices. These types of books and films glamorize the power of "evil" and it all may start with a child simply "playing around" with the occult, but that seemingly harmless act is "opening a window". Demons do NOT discriminate between intentions -- no matter how innocent -- and children lose the clear distinction between good and evil. Even more, these demons can not operate without permission from human beings, as they are smarter than any human being. They know they have lost the war in heaven, now they've come to earth and are doing all they can to exert their power and be an obstacle to heaven. Let us not be betrayed by misunderstanding the limits of demonic power.

Too Pretty For That
The other day, at Alexis's flag football game, Londyn was playing with a little girl friend named Gordy. As they were playing, Gordy decided to make her way to her grandmother's purse where she retrieved a compact of powdered makeup or some pressed powder. Gordy proceeded to walk back over to Londyn and said, "this is how you put it on," as she patted a "poof" of it on her cheeks. Instantly upon hearing what this little girl was saying, Londyn said, "you are too pretty for that," in a very matter of factly fashion. This is exactly what what I tell my girls! "You are too pretty for makeup," and they most definitely are.

Just Call Her "Farrah"
Londyn got her 1st hair cut on Tuesday. It is note worthy to mention, although she is over the age of three, this is her 1st hair cut. This pic got rave reviews from my Facebook page, so I decided to post it so we can show off her award winning personality and new hair due.
Alexis also got a new fashionably, stylish hair due too. It was the first time she didn't want her hair in a pony tail. See how pretty she is.

Choo Choo Soul
Londyn asked me to sing her a "Choo Choo" song. Immediately the lyrics to the Disney "Choo Choo Soul" song came to mind. I searched the internet and found the corresponding video. Upon hearing the song, for the very first time, Londyn made her way up onto my lap and began jamming out to the music. The girl has got some rhythm. If you decide to watch the video below just imagine the rhythm. OH!, The RHYTHM.

Sister Loo
Londyn became upset when I had to tell her "NO", yet again, about "something" she did that was unacceptable. She looked at me with her eyebrows turn low and said, "you aren't my sister anymore." I replied, "What, I'm not your sister anymore?" She thought about it for a second, or two or three, then said, "I changed my mind about you being my sister Loo because I love you and your so precious." So, I guess we are sisters again. You can see her most infamous facial expression below.

What I Want
For my 36th Birthday, I would like a present wrapped in blue. Inside the blue wrapped gift, I would like a white box with something green inside; something green like my eyes. - by Londyn Paige

Dymanic Orthotic Cranioplasty (DOC Band)
UPDATE: Here is the little DIVA in her cranial helmet. Rain is scheduled to wear the helmet for 12 weeks. We travel to Austin, TX every two weeks for adjustments. She doesn't seem to mind the helmet. It's as if it's apart of her, which is a good thing!
Presley Rain will be fitted with a DOC Band in less than two weeks. Londyn had to wear the same cranial helmet when she was an infant too!

Moving On Up
We decided to move on up and purchase our 1st mini van, the Honda Odyssey. Having three children demanded we become more child-centered as we began our search for the perfect new car. After researching and test driving an array of vehicles (for six months), keeping in mind everything we wanted and (needed) in a new vehicle, The Honda Odyssey was the BEST CHOICE by far. Compared to any other vehicle, including the new cross over SUVs, we simply could not get all that we did purchasing any other vehicle. We really have it all. See for yourself. I'm guilty of always getting the best bang for our buck! Alexis is the most excited about the new purchase, I think!

Moved Me
"The Reason, My Purpose"
My three year old, Londyn Paige is quite the challenge. I've been reading, To Train Up A Child, by Michael & Debi Pearl. This is what I took away from this book.
Child rearing is an invasive procedure. You invade the soul of a developing human being, an external living soul. It is not an inconsequential procedure. The whole heavens stand in the waiting room in anticipation of the outcome.

39th
Daddy turned 39 today, so the girls made cupcakes and decorated them up! They really look like sundaes! These chocolate cupcakes are filled with chocolate ganache, frosted with vanilla buttercream, swirled with more chocolate ganache and decorated with sprinkles and maraschino cherries. They tasted fantastic, yet so rich you can only eat one! Alexis did not want to join in the fun, but Londyn did as you can tell by the priceless pics below.
