SHERMAN William Jacob Sherman, III, "Bill" born April 12, 1947 in New Albany, IN was called home to rest January 14, 2009 with his cherished wife and son by his side. Bill is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Kathy A. Sherman, sons, Brian and Michael, Daughter and Son-in-Law, Charmaine and Harry, Brothers and Wives, George and Alice Sherman, Gary M. Sherman and Terry Lee and Sylvia Sherman, Sisters and Husbands, Yvette and Joe Cooper and Colette and Charlie Duran and numerous nieces, nephews and many beloved friends. Bill graduated from Douglas Mae Author High School in San Antonio in 1965 and received his Bachelors Degree in Science & Geology from St. Mary's University in 1970. Bill worked for the Corpus Christi ISD and retired from Halliburton. Bill loved the Outdoors, fishing, hunting, sailing and gun & knife collecting. Most of all he loved his family and two little dogs. The family would like to thank Christus Hospice, especially our very special nurse Kandice Park & Dr. Mark for the great care Bill received. A Memorial Mass will be held 10:00 AM, Saturday, January 24, 2009 at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church, 3502 Saratoga Blvd., Corpus Christi, TX 78415. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to any No Kill Animal Shelter of your choice.
